Zero Employer Contribution Required: Heritage Legal Plans are voluntary benefits, and employees pay the affordable premium rate of $ 19.95 per month, which covers the Employee and their Family.
Protection from Liability for Employer: Under Heritage Legal Plans for employees, legal matters arising out of the employees business, occupation or profession such as worker’s compensation, harassment, unemployment, retaliation are completely excluded from coverage.
Fewer Absences from Work by Employees: By providing your employees with Heritage Legal Plans, you are giving them affordable access to experienced legal representation. This translates to fewer absences to attend court hearings.
Higher Employee Morale and Productivity: With personal legal issues being handled by experienced legal professionals, employees can enjoy peace of mind, spend more time focusing on work and improve their productivity.
Benefits of Membership
Heritage Legal Protection provides members with legal assistance in various types of legal services including adoption, divorce, traffic tickets, personal injury, bankruptcy and debt related matters, DUI, DWI, criminal defense litigation, domestic violence, expungement, identity theft, wills, real estate matters, landlord-tenant matters, boundary disputes and civil litigation, among others.
Coverage is provided for the Employee and their Family starting at $ 19.95 per month plus a $ 25.00 enrollment fee.
There is a 90-day waiting period or pre-existing conditions for most benefits. Some benefits have a higher waiting period.
Members should consult their policies as limitations and exclusions apply.
Employers with 251 or more employees have a different rate and should contact panel representative for a quote.

Exclusions: Legal matters arising out of Employee’s profession or occupation, such as worker’s compensation and unemployment are excluded from Heritage Legal Plans.
Who is Covered?
Coverage is provided for the individual Employee or the Employee plus Family at the premium rate of $ 19.95 per month.
The premium is completely paid by the Employee, and the Employer makes no contribution.
Furthermore, there is a $ 25.00 initial enrollment fee.
Specifically, Heritage Legal Plan for Employees covers:
- The Employee and Employee’s Spouse;
- Employee’s unmarried dependent children under 23 years of age;
- Any person living in Employee’s home such as children over 23 years old, parents and siblings
